New Induction Oven

Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are absolutely blown away with the performance of our induction cooktop. We bought Hexclad cookware to use with our new range and the two work well with each other. There is a little learning curve involved with the induction because the heating is so fast and efficient. To see water start to boil in 30 seconds is amazing. Also the free standing range is very handsome in our newly remodeled kitchen. We get a lot of compliments on it. Also, the oven cooks very evenly. No hot spots. We're happy we purchased it.

Beautiful range

We're really happy with our new range and are liking induction, which is new to us. Minor gripe: I wish there was a third shelf in the oven and that all shelves were telescopic, rather than just the one. Also, it is a bit annoying that the settings on the oven controls aren't shown on the stovetop display, especially as the various settings are pretty hard to read on the knob itself! This would be worth an upgrade as it's not very user-friendly. But over all, this is a wonderful appliance.

The cook top extends beyond the range body, so the control buttons are under that overhang and cannot be read unless you stand away from the range and bend to look at them. The oven button when turned to select a mode I.e. convection, bake, broil, etc, doesn't display on the screen only some lines or a temperature display, so you have to bend awkwardly to view the button while selecting the mode and then use the display to set the temp and timer. Also, the buttons for the cooktop operation do display on the cooktop digital display but don't show any indicator for which burner you are controlling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT SO FAR!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month ago. It is even more stunning in person than how it looks online! It works really well so far. The induction top heats things up so so quickly. As far as people complaining about the fan noise from the oven vent in the reviews, you need to get a grip. It's an oven - it's going to fan when it gets hot. Yes, you can hear it but it's not excessive. And, I find that the vent noise is drowned out completely by the overhead hood vent anyway.
Going to use the included thermometer for the first time on Christmas Eve for a 6lb tenderloin - let's see how it goes!

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Display for burners in use and temp avoids having to look at the control knobs. Display also shows when a pan is on a burner but burner is not on. Oven trays are very heavy duty and slide out glides easy to use.

This is a great range. Looks good, works great, as advertised. I read a bunch of reviews of this range and found Complaint #1 was a loud oven fan. I found the oven fan sound to be the same my last high end oven, so "Loud?", no I don't find it so. And complaint #2 was hard to read control knobs. There's 3 knobs both sides of the monitor. Once you use them and realize they are in a very intuitive layout then no problem - right vs left knobs, front vs back burners.
