Wish oven was not sooo loud

We recently had this range placed in our kitchen. Wanted the Bosch brand and induction. Love the burner placement, the knob controls, however the oven is so loud I can hear it throughout my home, including basment, difficult to talk to another person in normal voice and louder than my Ventahood. So now avoid baking. I am truly disappoointed and frustrated that a range of this price point is so loud and that Bosch finds this acceptable. And yes we had a appliance person come to our home and said it was operating properly-needs that much airflow to cool the eletronics. I am waiting to hear back from appliance company we purchased from to see what my options are for I want it removed. In this day where quiet is wanted in home appliances, why is Bosch building noisy ranges?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice overall but some poor design choices

- Large oven window.
- It's not super heavy, so relatively easy to move around if need be.

Minuses
- Oven has a light only on the left side. At this price point, there should be lights on both sides.
- Oven does not report its own temperature! It has a cryptic bar with no temerature markings to indicate temperature.
- The beep that the oven makes when it is preheated is short and incredibly quiet, and there's no way to make it louder.
- The exterior cooling fan that turns on when the oven is hot is very loud. At this price point, it should be quiet. There's no excuse for that!
- The markings on the dials are hard to read.
- Oven interior dimensions are a bit smaller than they could be, compared to my previous 36" range. I have a 16" circular pizza stone that does not fit. You cannot fit two half sheet pans on one rack. On the plus side, the smaller oven is probably more efficient and is more than large enough for most things.

A mixed bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this range is okay, but we're not thrilled with it. Pros: nice look and alignment with kitchen cabinets, ease of cooking. Cons: The oven is very shallow! And when using the oven, the fan is VERY LOUD. There should be an indicator light for when the oven is preheated; the beep is short and could go off while the cook is out of the room. The cooktop cook zone arrangement isn't the most convenient (i.e., the double griddle space would be better at the back, since it's not the most frequently used zone). We're glad to have made the switch to induction, but generally not crazy about this particular product; probably would not purchase again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unexpected pleasure

Like our Bosch dishwasher the results are stunning with fast and efficient induction cooking. The design of this Steve includes a sleek multi powered cooking surface that accommodates any size pans. The oven utilizes a convection option for baking and the sliding pullout shelves are the best. Easy to use LCD timer is very well placed in the central control panel and an internal probe completes the accuracy of temperature control. Easy cleaning is mandatory in our household and this Bosch 36 inch model doesn't disappoint. This is professional grade.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the safety of the induction range. It has taken some time (and some burnt food) to get used to the speed and heat of the burners! I struggle with the oven and without being able to self-clean. I've now spent hours on hands and knees trying to scrub up burnt on dripping pizza from the bottom. In addition, the oven takes a long time to heat up and the fan is loud. Leaving the door open after turning the oven off lets it cool off faster and the fan stop sooner. So, that helps a bit. Overall, we really like it, but do have some issues.

Good appliance

I've owned the 80-0 series induction range for six months. The induction works fine except the glass surface is hard to clean. We have never used the oven. The free-standing air fryer meets all our needs. It is a complex beast to operate.

Powerful induction range
