I got one for us and one for our daughter. Love the display and speed. Wish the count down timer was active the entire cycle and not just at the end Very expensive for a toaster. Should have come with the two optional items for the price.

My wife gave me an R270 with the Panini Press and Warming Rack for Christmas and it is has been in daily use ever since. English muffins and bagels come quickly out of the toaster ready for butter, cream cheese and other goodies such as Peanut Butter, Jam, Apple Butter, etc. My wife has me making grilled cheese sandwiches in the Panini press using a variety of cheeses. And the surprise item was the warming tray ,,, there are times when I put a thick piece of butter on the toast and needs to be warmed to melt - just put the warming tray on top of toaster and wala - gently melted butter on beautifully toaster breads. The tray works equally well for items you would not think of toasting, such as large blueberry muffins. The toaster is simply wonderful.
My wife's other observation is the the digital clock on the display is readily readable from across the room - no more looking at Microware clocks.
