The toaster is good but there seems to be an issue with my toaster where when I use regular sliced bread the bottom 1/8th of te bread is not toasted so I have to turn it upside down and toast for a short time to get that part of the toast toasted, which then gives me an issue with the upper half being over toasted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this toaster, I just wish there was a way to just update the software instead of having to buy an entirely new toaster..I had to get the new one...plus I had the original still..

It’s nice, the idea was great BUT my food is burning even with changing of a lower setting be advised doing that the food Isn’t cooking so it’s either burnt food (depending on what it is) or under cook food.

Hi I bought this not that long ago but only the outer heating elements are working!? The inside elements don't heat up?

I am liking it. However the frozen bagels mode never unfreezes properly. It gets crispy outside; inside can be still frozen.

Great toaster if you know what you're buying

Overall, I honestly think the Revolution R270 is an excellent toaster. I was on the fence about buying one for well over a year and I watched endless YouTube reviews and read dozens of articles before I finally bought one. To me, the bulk of the reviews I read were pretty similar "It does the job of a toaster for a lot more money." Eh, I don't really agree with that. If you spend $400 on a toaster, you need to know what you're getting. I was tired of moving my old 4-slice toaster back and forth from the pantry to the counter because I didn't want to leave it out due to it being way too big and pretty ugly looking. I also hated when the toast popped up and would scare me every time with what sounded like an old boxing ring bell. I was also tired of guessing where the dial was set and if it moved from the last time I had it set. First world problems, yes, but I was ready to move on to something a bit more modern. Plus, I loved the tech and look of the Revolution. If you put a screen in something, you already have my attention. I've been using the Revolution R270 for a few weeks now and I love that I can leave it out on the counter because it's small and great to look at. I love the customization options in the settings menu of being able to select what to show and not show based on the items I use. I've already used it for waffles, bagels, English muffins, wheat toast and white toast. It handled them all without an issue and the toast level is perfect for me when set to '2'. Anything above that is a bit too dark for me. I also love the classy way the toast is slowly "popped" back up with a tone announces it's done; no more scaring me before coffee with the loud "CLANG" of the old toaster. It's a lot of cash for a toaster, but if you're reading this review then you must be sick of your current toaster and are ready to move on to something new. Give the R270 a shot - just be sure you buy it for what it is and not what you think it should be and I doubt you'll be disappointed. Happy toasting!

The Piece of technology I never knew I needed

This is such a cool piece of kitchen equipment. If someone like Apple made a toaster it would look just like this.
It is super easy to use and my kids love being able to select the type of food and it auto loads. My three year old can make her own bagel in the morning, if only she could remember to put the lid back on the cream cheese.
Super even toasting, tons of options, and some very cool accessories. Set up was only a matter of seconds as it plugged in and was able to get toasting immediately.
Not only does it work exceptionally well on about any carbohydrate you can think of, it looks incredibly stylish in the kitchen. It has a sleep mode that displays the time and looks right at home in any modern kitchen. The quality of the product is high and it is well put together. I expect it to last for a long time. While it may seem like a steep investment, it is a fantastic value and I look forward to many years of perfectly toasted bread.
