Knob setting

Love the dryer especially the light inside and nice and big. Do not like the Cycle knob because it seems when you are turning for selection it seems like it is going to break . Old dryer had a clicking when setting. This seems flimsy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello, Chubbs! We understand the concerns about the cycle selector knob and that it feels different from other dryers you've used. As long as you are able to easily set the cycle you're needing, everything should be good to go! Bad Day on The Production Line

This review may be revised. The SQ dryer we purchased on 01/15/2022 began making a really loud rattling sound after owning it for two weeks. A local authorized SQ appliance repair person installed a new motor and some rollers. After the repair was performed, the dryer began emitting a very loud constant squeak. These issues may be indicative of just a bad day on the assembly line and not of the product as a whole. SQ is currently working with the local appliance dealer to exchange our dryer. Would I recommend? It's too early to tell right now. We'll see how things go with the replacement dryer. When the dryer did work for the short period, it performed super well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have submitted reviews on many products, but have never been as thoughtful as I have in this review! I just LOVE my Speed Queen washer and gas dryer. This is my first new "set" and I am 50. I tell all my friends how much I love my washer and dryer - I am sure now they think I am crazy, but it is life changing to be able to wash a load in under 30 minutes and with this gas dryer I can usually dry in about 30 minutes. It is so FAST and they both hold huge loads. There can't possibly be a better washer and dryer out there. This is the 2nd gas dryer I have owned and this is a 10/10. To me it dries much faster than electric. You also can't beat made in the USA!!! Thank you Speed Queen- I am one of your newest and biggest fans!

Dries clothing and linens quickly!
I haven’t used all of the settings for drying and not certain of g to hear functionality.
Basic drying setting is getting the job done .

Brand new dryer - didn't work

Received our brand new dryer and it didn't work. Didn't dry the clothes. Appliance seller didn't believe us and had to come back twice. First time they had to "order parts". Second time, same day, they mysteriously had the parts. We had to be VERY INSISTENT that it did not work. Ignitor didn't light the gas apparently. Frustrating and upsetting after waiting 10 days to even get one (in stock) installed!
I would recommend this to a friend!
