Crazy but what I really love is the lint catcher! It is so easy to get the lint out of the tray and this dryer does a fantastic job of removing lint from clothes. Faster at drying than my old unit and quiet too. Love my purchase. Use it nearly every day.

I wanted a dryer to match my two year old Speed Queen TC5000WN top loading Washing machine, which I love!!! The dryer has ALL the settings I could possibly want, and is quiet. But I do have it in my garage. What I like is it has a capacity to dry large loads that my washing machine washes. Like queen size comforters. 5 large towels. And the less dry settings come out less dry, but I can use extended tumble with no heat so they do not wrinkle. Also, the door hinges can be placed on either side of dryer for ease of opening, with a washing machine that's on the right or left side.

We went thru several brands of washers and dryers before we bought the Speed Queen brand. Not one to believe all the hype about these machines so was skeptical at first and was pleasantly surprised with how the washer performed. When the dryer gave up on us we did not hesitate to go back to the same dealer for the dryer. Now have peace of mind and a happy family.

I was going to get my old Kenmore washer fixed but decided it wasn’t worth it and that I was going to purchase a new washer. When I called the repair man to say that I had decided to purchase a new washer he said only by the speed queen! He said most of the other watchers are junk! I figure that someone who fixes machines for a living has to know what they’re talking about!

brand new and missing a part

I had the dryer delivered and installed 3 weeks ago but it made a bad noise the first time I ran it. Service person says it is missing a part. He ordered it and the dryer will be repaired soon. Hopefully it will live up to its reputation after the fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
