Temp adjustment not what I like

I prefer to dry my clothes on a low temp to reduce shrinking, but unless I use timer or delicates I have to dry on medium

High quality using superior materials. And has a sensible design. Clearly done by someone who would actually use it. Definitely something as a line item on a will - that’s how long it’ll be around and in perfect working order.

Great Dryer

I have only had the dryer a few weeks but so far I love it. It dries quickly, runs quietly and is very large inside. My only complaint so far is that the dryer uses sensors from the last drying cycle and does not adjust when a new load is put in. For example if the last load dried in 15 minutes the dryer will run for 15 minutes and turn off while clothes are still wet. I have tried and failed to reset the dryer do for now I am just living with it.

Main electronic board replaced but still does not work. Now getting error code 65. Waiting for service call.

Expecting More

After about one month, we are not sure we wish to keep this dryer. Reason, everything takes almost twice was long to dry. Yesterday, I visited the salesman/store where we purchased the dryer for "advice" which is not proving to be helpful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with out purchase

We recently purchased a TR7 washer and dryer combo and have had a chance to use it for the past two months. Our growing family does a lot of laundry and we couldn’t be more happy with clean clothes. I was skeptical that the dryer feature to remove pet hair from garments was a gimmick, but the feature actually works.
We like to support companies that still do manufacturing in the US. SpeedQueen units are slightly more expensive than units you can purchase at big box stores. To me buying appliances that are still built and assembled in the US is an important business model to support. The build quality and craftsmanship is great.
We did see some negative reviews on consumer reports for the TR7, but also saw lots of positive posts from actual owners of the TR7 online. We decided to buy the TR7 anyway despite the negative consumer reports review. We have had a much more positive experience than they reported.
