A repairman that was called to repair our old washer & dryer advised us to replace with Speed Queen products. We did. Someone needs to give that repairman a "finder's fee".

We purchased this Speed Queen gas dryer after our dryer no longer worked. We already owned the Speed Queen washer & have been extremely happy with it. I cannot say enough about this dryer. Just like the Speed Queen washer, this dryer is a work horse. It works so well and we love the lint trap design. Collared shirts come out so well - hardly any wrinkles making ironing them a breeze. We love the steam functions as well. Don't hesitate - just buy it! BEST ON THE MARKET!

I wish that they had a manual explaining the use of this dryer. It takes a few weeks to adjust to this dryer. Have not tried all the functions yet. Too many buttons to push.

Bright light and dries well

The DR7 gas dryer works well. The old dryer was electric, but we decided to switch to gas. Seems to dry clothes faster and is very quiet. The light for the tub is bright and makes it easy to check inside. The filter screen is at the bottom of door frame and is simple to clean with one swipe of a Kleenex tissue. The tissue picks up better than just using your fingers. We had to remove the door to change the swing, no problem and easy to do.
