Bought dryer and used it in auto setting. Never turns off. Waited two weeks for a part for a brand new dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oh no, Mag91! Thats definitely not the experience we're wanting anyone to have. Hopefully everything is now back working the way expected after the new timer was put in. One thing to note is when selecting the cycle, turn the timer knob clockwise only. If turned counterclockwise, this could cause the timer to not advance in the auto-dry cycle as it is only designed to be turned clockwise. The Laundromat Uses Them, Why Not At Home!

Speed Queen is a bit expensive, but well worth the extra dollars. When I needed to replace my washer, I decided I would replace the dryer as well. Pretty much knew I would but Speed Queen, but wanted a machine that, possibly, would outlast me. With a 25 year lifespan, it just might, as I’m 73. Dries great and is easy to operate. No regrets whatsoever in spending more. Plus handles bulky items very well.
