Ugh, this is terrible to hear, but we wanted to see if we had any tips that could potentially save you the service visit! When setting the cycle selector knob, ensure its only turned clockwise. Turning it counter-clockwise could impact the timer control leading to unusual cycles times - too long or too short. When drying synthetic or semi-synthetic materials, we'd double-check the fabric's care label to see which heat setting is recommended. Usually, for synthetic blends, this will either be low (delicate) or medium (perm press) as too high of heat on synthetics can lead them to become damaged or melted. However if this isn't the cause, we're glad service has been set up already so this can be looked into and corrected for you ASAP!
