It dries much faster than my former machine and the lint filter seems much more efficient. It also is more solidly built than the other dryers we considered.

Most durable. Only negative is that I don’t like there not being a “top” on the lint filter. Sometimes clothes fall into it and get lint on them . Socks especially. Is there some sort of top you can buy to place on top of it? Please respond. This is my only concern. Otherwise, I love it! I love my washer as well. My washer is the 7 year that I have had Apx 2 years, but due to the covid I could only get the 5 year dryer which is fine; I just would have preferred the two to match. But, I was just proud to get one during these times .

Nice big drum!

I love how big the drum is on this dryer and I really like the nice, bright LED light! I can now see inside if I just want to grab out something specific. I appears to be a quality build and the stainless drum is an added bonus!

Excellent cleaning power with plenty of water. My old machine took 2 wash cycles at times to get clothes clean, where’s the energy savings in that scenario?

I’m bought a Speed Queen clothes washer five years ago - it’s the best I’ve ever had - so I wanted a Speed Queen dryer, too. It’s great. I especially like the cool down cycles and optional extended tumble.

Glitchy

We bought this dryer just a few months ago, and now the dial sticks, resulting in the dryer staying activated well past the dry cycle (and thus creating a fire hazard). This glitch is not covered in the Troubleshooting section of the User's manual.

I am so happy to be back to a GREAT American product! Love this dryer. Works like a champ and I look forward to continuing my family Speed Queen tradition. My mother used only Speed Queen for over 60 years. Excellent Quality! Love it!
