Great dryer! Best lint collection, bought five year warranty to avoid all the push buttons, can hear the all done buzzer from the other end of the house if you desire, dries in half the time of the three year old Frigidaire model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When my old washer died I knew it would be replaced with a Speed Queen. Several friends own one and I’ve had my eye on the brand for years. No regrets with this purchase!!

This dryer is like the dryers 30 or more years ago, heavy and simple to use. Love the lint filter. All of the lint comes out with one swipe and doesn't get everywhere. It takes about an hour to dry most loads and I dry full loads. I really like the big simple to use control knobs. I like that it has minimal electronics. I feel like this dryer will last at least 20 years like Speed Queen advertises. Price is higher than competitors but it is MADE in the USA. Don't hesitate to buy one, you'll feel better about yourself knowing you purchased a major item that was made here in the USA!

Ive only had the dryer for a few weeks and the only negative is I notice it leaves lint on my clothes, something my other dryer never did!

It could be possible if you are using the Max dry/more dry feature that you may be over drying your clothing, which can also leave some lint on clothing.
