Fantastic, simple dryer

Perfect compliment to the washer. Mainly we wanted the washer but decided to get both to make sure the capacity would match. We have not been disappointed. Very solid machine and it cut drying time by 25%. Just seeing how much more air comes out of the vent is impressive. We are very happy with both of our Speed Queens.

While this machine is used in our home, we have an SQ washer also, we also use them inn our rental cabins and to date they hold up the best. They are, however, very pricey for a washer or dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The lint filter is very easy to clean. I like that the filter itself stays put and wiping the lint out is made so easy.

This is the first time I purchased a speed queen, works ok, doesn’t dry as quickly as my old HE dryer. The only things I don’t like about it are the knob to turn to the cycle type I line it up and push start and it won’t start. I have to move it a little past the cycle line. The other thing is that the end of cycle signal won’t sound on all the cycles it has ( perm press, efficiency, and delicate…)

Overall a great machine. Large capacity and dries quickly. My biggest complaint with this device is that the door is very difficult to open. A lot of force is needed to pull it open. I wish door was designed to open downward instead of to the left or right. Laundry often falls to floor when opening door.

Owned a Maytag Commercial Duty set for 30 years. I thought they were really good but the Speed Queen is even better. Quiet, powerful and efficient. If they last as long as my old Maytags they very cost effective.
