My husband and I did a lot or research and spoke to salesmen before buying our Speed Queen. We liked the warranty, that it was american made, and that it was a basic washer with no fancy bells or whistles. The salesman stated that other brands, such as LG and Samsung, dont tend to last as long. We wanted something that could last many years, and get our money worth. So far so good, and we are enjoying the machine.

Our last dryer we got rid of was only less than 1-year-old. Had the factory out. Their answer was we got one of the best ones. With the speed queen dryer, our last load only took 20 minutes to dry. Has just the right amount of settings

When I use economy cycle the knob never makes it’s round to turn off. Maybe it is me but I always have to open the door to turn it off and the dial never moves
