Very good Dryer -- better than the previous model

I'm a real fan of analog controls -- dislike digital ones -- and this model is a good compromise. The "auto dry" cycles do a really good job and so I rely less on the "time only" option, as I have in the past. Bought this model about 2 months ago and still very pleased with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dryer is so easy to operate. I did not want to purchase a dryer with digital options. I am old school and this dryer works great!

So far, it's the workhorse that I wanted. I went with all mechanical and it gets the job done. No bells and whistles, just easy and fast!

It is acceptable the product is solid however like all electric dryers takes way too long to dry.

Thank you for your review, we apologize for the dryer taking so long to dry your clothing.
If you have not attempted yet, we would recommend using the timed dry section, then you would select the temperature. Regular is high heat, Perm Press is medium heat and delicate is low heat. We don't recommend the high heat for much except cotton towels, as it may get pretty hot. The automatic cycles provide intermittent heat and is a bit better for the material. You can set this for max dry for those heavier denim clothes.

I wanted to get into a Speed Queen because so many friends told me it was the best for long life and I had a new LG which I did not like. It was to deep, and when I stood on a stool to get my clothes out the setting would go off. However this SQ dryer is very loud when it runs!! I put an old pillow down the one side against the wall to help dull the noise. And the setting know is stiff, hard to figure out what I am selecting and where the actual "start" area for each setting is. Last I've even had to run some cycles twice because it does not dry our towels dry - they are still damp.
