I didn’t think dryer’s were that different. I bought a new speed queen washer. I’m very proud I got the dryer also.There is a difference.

I purchased higher end GE washer and dryer a year ago and nothing but headaches, which was surprising for me. 5 service calls and doing laundry elsewhere for months. I was told Speed Queen was the best. The cost was $1000 more but having machines for a period of time and with a five year warranty was the key. I need stress free in my life and this seemed to be the best solution. I love them and very happy with my purchase.

Good standard dryer

Dryer is very very loud. The first one I had to send back because on the regular dry function it never shut off… all night to be exact. The replacement has a rattle that I still can’t pinpoint. The knobs are wiggly so you have to make sure it is really lined up for it to turn on. Overall I think they could have done a better job designing this. The buzzer doesn’t need its own knob with varying levels of beep. Who likes loud buzzing dryers anyways? Only purchased the dryer because it matched the set. But my other dryer was much better and quieter. Overall it is good and basic. Nothing fancy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
