Speed Queen does it right -- a great dryer doesn't need a bunch of bells and whistles that no one needs in the first place. Dry the clothes and do it well, Thank you.

Builds Moisture and smells

This dryer works effectively if you remove the clothing right away. Otherwise, if it sits, it builds moisture on the inside leaving clothes to need dried again. If you close the door right away after you've emptied it, it also builds moisture and a smell. Also the buzzer continues to go off after you open the door and remove your clothes. You have to go back to the dryer and turn the knob to off so it will stop buzzing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If laundry has been left and you noticed an odor, we'd recommend wiping the drum out with a simply cleaning solution. The end-of-cycle alert is connected to the timer. If this is not turning off after it's set duration, please connect with our Customer Support at 800-552-5475 (Monday to Friday; 8:30am – 4:00pm Central Standard Time).

Very good washer with a mechanical agitator and water level control. Runs a complete cycle in about 35 minutes, which is 30 minutes faster than my one year old "high efficency" washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
