Speed Queen has the best warranty and reviews by far. I love this dryer. It has all the features you need and works better than any dryer I have owned in my 34 years of marriage. I will never buy another brand.
The washer and dryer have not moved during spin cycles. I like the variety of options on both machines. My only negative note...lint basket location. When I open door, dried articles end up with lint on them as articles fall into basket before you can empty it.
Our new Commercial Heavy Duty dryer drys our towels in one load. I no longer have to turn the jeans inside out to dry. I like the built in lint trap. We have much less lint in the outside vent and on the basement floor and surrounding area. The plastic dryer vents fly out at a new angle. I wish we would have gotten this model years ago. It took a while to get it as it had to be shipped. Worth the Wait. Get this model.
The dryer has multiple choices on how to best dry your clothes yet it is easy to use. It is very quiet. The sensor works very well and either shuts off early or keeps the dryer going if needed. No worries.
Really like the electronic controls and the length of the warranty. Does a great job in less time than my previous washer. Also holds an entire hamperful of clothes, which cuts down on the number of loads I have to run. Only wish it had a clear lid, so you could see the washing action. I would pay for a clear lid as an accessory.
I no longer dread doing laundry. I'd had a front load washer before, and got 7 good years from it, and suffered the last 2 years with declining performance. I spent weeks researching different styles before deciding to revert back to an agitator style. This was a tough choice for me, as I try to generally stay environmentally friendly, but the time spent doing loads of laundry with the front loader was just too long. I feel it's a trade-off: run the machines for a much shorter period of time vs using less water. With my Speed Queen, my clothes are really clean and rinsed free of soap, and I can do several loads in one day. I was shocked at first at the difference in how my sheets & towels felt -- much softer without all the soap residue. And everything is cleaner! White t-shirts that I thought were hopelessly stained are white again. It was quite an investment, but I am hopeful these units will last me a very long time. The only caution I can share is to be certain to sort loads by types of fabric, as the washer is tougher on fabric, and will cause pilling. I had washed a flannel sheet set with a small blanket and ended up with balls of fluff all over my blanket. Finally, Speed Queen is made in the USA, and that was important to me as well.
