Dryer seems to work well so far, was a little disappointed that it was damaged after I unpacked it. The carton it came in wasn’t damaged so it was packaged damaged? Questionable quality control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my new washer and dryer

Hi Cory,
We are so sorry to hear this is happening with your clothing!
When the grate in the back is getting darker, due to the venting, airflow is low allowing the clothing to touch the grill in the back where heat comes out. This may be the cause of the marks on your laundry. When exhaust is right, the blower sucks air out of that grill so fast that clothing cannot touch it.
This may be an issue that you can resolve yourself. Airflow in a Speed Queen is crucial. Since these are commercial machines, we push the air through a lot faster than competitive brands. This means the venting has to be better than what the average machine requires. Our air flow through the machine is 220 cfm and if there is a restriction, the heat is spiked. Foil venting cannot be used as it can easily kink and reduce the airflow. The venting material needs to be metal, like ductwork. Termination hoods must meet our requirements or it can reduce the airflow. Please check to see if there are any obstructions- going all the way from the back of the dryer to the outside. If you need further assistance, as always feel free to give us a call so we can take a closer look at this!

No heat after 3 weeks

The heating element went out after 3 weeks and it’s going to take their appliance company 3 weeks to replace it!
I’m hoping this is a fluke and the dryer will run with no further issues. Good thing I live in Florida and can hang a clothes line.
