Product Issues

Having issues from day one. Dryer has a very loud thumping sound and cycle times are twice as long as the washer cycle. Will be calling service to have the unit checked out.

I had to get a new dryer after only 2 months

Honestly I was so excited to get a speed Queen for reliability so I bought a washer and within a month is had to be repaired and a week later repaired again. I had a dryer in order and received it a month later and after 2 months had to return it. I had 2 service calls on it and the second it needed a part that was unavailable. I would never buy another. In 20 years my Maytag set never gave me a problem but they were getting old. Boy do I wish I had them back

Should have bought these years ago, Best Ever!!

Somewhere quality, endurance, dependability, and value in American appliances disappeared over the last 40+ years. After getting flim-flammed with other “Top Brands” and the “Best of the Best”, we finally found Speed Queen. It only took 40+ years!!! The final straw was getting only a year & nine months out of the new other brand’s top model and hearing the repairman tell us the gears are plastic, it’s made in Mexico with Chinese parts…. And his appliance company services all makes & models. He recommended, as did a family member, to get Speed Queen. American made, old school company. We are thrilled. Finally. I only wish Speed Queen also made dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers……
I would recommend this to a friend!

No heat

Had the dryer a week before we left for vacation. The dryer doesn’t work and have scheduled a repair company for 7/5. So far, very unhappy.

Not working 1 month after purchase

I was soooo excited about my new dryer. It was delivered and hooked up and I was able to use it for 2 weeks before the heating element went out. That was in March. It is now July and it’s still sitting in my garage because the warranty repair company can’t get the parts in. In the mean time…the appliance company has loaned us the cheapest dryer they had and I’m nervous to return it. At this point…I’d like a whole new dryer and I feel that my warranty should start over from the time of 2nd install. Highly disappointed. But also feel that our repairs were put on the back burner due to them being warranty repairs and not paid.

Dr7 doesn't stand up to it's standards

The speed queen washer say a error code 65 every time you wash clothes There is nothing online about this error code 65 would I buy a speed queen tr7 again no I wouldn't

We are sorry to hear about your washer. The error code 65 indicates- board shortened error, or hardware error. Which means the output board needs to be replaced, power the machine down to clear. We would recommend the following: If you have not already done so, please contact the dealer that you purchased from to schedule service to have the unit inspected. If they do not provide service you can find an authorized service company here: https://speedqueen.com/support/find-service/ You'll want to contact the service company to schedule a mutually agreeable date and time for them to come to your home. Once the technician is onsite, they will be able to diagnose and correct the issue. The technician can also call our Technical Service team at 920-748-3121 for assistance with any troubleshooting or if they have any questions while they are in front of the machine.
When you call to set up the service appointment be sure to provide the serial number of your machine. The service company will need that in order to file any necessary warranty claims with us.
