Just as good as my washer.

I had a front load dryer in the past, so wasn't sure if I would like going back to a traditional dryer. It dries very well, has lots of options. Very happy with both my washer and dryer from Speed Queen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like our new DR7 SQ dryer. The features are excellent and it performs very well. I just wish the matching washer matched it's performance quality!

Not as good as it sounds

I got talked into purchasing this upgrade dryer from the regular plain workhorse dryer because of the "pet hair removal" feature. since I have 6 dogs and wash a lot of dog beds its sounded like an amazing feature. I have tried it several times on several different beds, blankets, and even the couch cover and bottom line it doesnt work. It does collect some hair, but very little and the static causes the hair to end up on the drum of the dryer not in the lint collector. I have even run items through multiple cycles of pet hair removal and found it plain doesnt work like its advertised. I then use a wet hand to wipe the hair off myself and get LOTS of hair then put it in the washer.. very disappointed and wish I would have stuck with the regular dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It controls you. You do not control it !

I cannot change water levels once it has stared washing. The lid lock is a horrible idea.
I keep finding things that drive me crazy !
Also I press “dry” on the dryer and the jean bands are still damp.

Hard to Regulate

Drying cycles are hard to determine and clothes are often still too damp when cycle shuts off. Perhaps if manuals had been received when the unit was purchased this might be avoided

Solid and reliable

Seems very solid and reliable. Was making a squeaking noise and service man replaced the belt which fixed the issue for our new dryer.
