Thermal fuse out!

We had heard great things about Speed Queen which is why we sought it out when we needed a new dryer. We purchased it in August of 2021 and it stopped working in March 2022. The thermal fuse is out and it could be months before we receive a new one. I feel like 7 months is a short time for a repair to already be needed. Our previous dryer worked for almost 10 years. Needless to say, we are disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this dryer for only a short time but so far I am very pleased. I am still learning about settings that are new to me. It dries clothes very well and wrinkle free which I did not experience with my old dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Durable long lasting machine!!

We love this washer/ dryer set! The warranty also helps. My welder husbands clothes have never been cleaner!! It runs fairly quietly, and I have to remember to check on my clothes because I do not always hear the end of cycle signal. But our appliances are in the basement.

We have had speed queen before. We sold our 7 year old machines 20 years ago to some friends and they are still using them today! We are looking to enjoy these machines for quite some time.

Stopped working after 2 weeks

I liked this machine while it worked. 2 weeks after I purchased the thermal fuse broke. The tech could not understand why. 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for parts. With 7 people in the home, laundry piles up fast. Our clothes line isn't large enough for the loads and we just spent a lot of money at the laundromat. I purchased a commercial heavy-duty dryer because we do a lot of laundry. Not happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When my washer broke down I refused to buy other brands as they are only made to last 7-10 years. My husband did a lot of research and found Speed Queen commercial for our home. No other brand can beat the quality and warranty of these washers and dryers. They will handle a king size bedspread. They fill all the way up with water. My load is done in about 35 minutes. I bought a set for my Michigan home and another for my Florida home. They are hands down the best buy for your dollar. I tell all my friends about how wonderful these appliances are and many of them now have them in their homes too!!
