Very quiet, well built. Clothes are dried quickly. We love the steam options to remove wrinkles. Great quality.

Well built but sensor dry has flaw

The product is one of the most reputable out there and for a good reason. The only flaw that I've noticed is that sometimes the sensor dry cycle leaves clothes damp. I had a authorized repair company look at it and he said there is no adjustment that can be made. So not perfect as this happens pretty frequently, but I'll just have to adjust.

Just have the dryer, so far. Not liking that no owners manual comes with it; had to order 1, been a couple weeks and still haven't gotten it. Postal service not that slow, so it's speed queen. Also don't like it that the automatic settings won't let us set heat to low, which sheets need to be set on to avoid shrinkage. Have to go to delicate which then doesn't get them dry, making us then use manual time to guess on it. Don't engineers use their own products?

Great Dryer with Plenty of Options

This dryer is easy to use, and it has a number of setting options to mee your drying needs. The steamer feature for de-wrinkling your clothes is also a handy feature. We like the fact that this dryer is made using all metal components, so we don't have to worry about plastic parts breaking or wearing out.

We replaced a 6 year old Samsung dryer that quit working with the Speed Queen. Once we figured out our "comfortable" settings, it has been working perfectly. It is intuitive so didn't take long to figure out. I like the efficiency of the lint screen--it remains attached, you just swipe out the lint with your finger. It has the feature of continuing to periodically tumble for 2 hours after the load is finished. I haven't needed to use that yet but think that is a useful feature. Am hoping to get many years of service out of it!
