Love the drying options, some I may never use on a regular basis but nice to have a choice. The dryer light is bright, no longer reaching into poorly lite machine. Clothes remain warm even if I am 15 min late retrieving them. Actually drys my clothes and linens. I grew uo with Speed Queen, for some reason I did not think they were being made any longer. Glad I learned they were, love SQ

I own a Speed Queen washing machine and it has been reliable for the past two years. NO ISSUES. I expect the same with the Speed Queen dryer.

Have had better Speed Queen Experience in the past

This is our third set of speed queens as we have moved and had to leave the prior two sets. So far the washer is doing pretty good but the experience with the dryer has been all but terrible. For starters, the delivery of the dryer was botched as we were no call-no showed 3 separate occasions. It was finally delivered on the 4th date given. After receiving the dryer, it worked fine for about a month, and then it quit heating. We scheduled for a service tech to come out and fix it under warranty and had to wait for three weeks to even get someone out. The day that the tech was supposed to come out, we had a window of 8a-11a for them to be there. I was called the day before and said it would now be 10a-11a. At 11:30a, I called to find out where the tech was and was told my appointment was 11a-2p. This was 180 out from what I had been told before. The repair company was completely unprofessional from a scheduling standpoint, however the service tech was very cordial and informed me the dryer had a bad thermostat and would have to order parts. He said with Speed Queen it could be a couple weeks to several months. This is all for a dryer that had only been used for around one month! It has been an extremely disappointing and inconvenient experience for such an expensive dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The options to dry everything from cloth diapers to our dogs favorite blankets make laundry day so much easier. The machine is quiet and efficient.
