extremely disappointed

I purchased the Speed Queen washer dryer combo and within a couple of months the dryer needed repair. The necessary replacement part was unavailable and it took 8 weeks for the repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had for 2 weeks and stopped heating. Replaced thermostat and thermo fuse. Worked 1 cycle and did it again. Repair tech came back out, replaced same 2 parts, and 1 additional thermal fuse on the blower return. IT DID IT AGAIN! Now factory says replace the board! Worked less than 2 week!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't dry clothes

Sensor seems to be broken. All settings will dry ONLY for the amount of time listed except Permanent Press, (which seems to work most of the time). Clothes are all seemingly time-dry for the default duration, and does not extend past that; does not "ask the sensor" to extend those minutes. Drying twice seems to work, since you can't go over 99 in time-dry-mode and it typically needs like 125 minutes. All settings (except Perm. Press) leave clothes quite damp. Asked for assistance but was reverted back to where I purchased item but cannot get serviced. Warranty is useless. Verified vent is clear. Disappointed.

We did refer back to the email in regards to your case, our agent did recommend for you to reach out to the dealership. Since they do not do repairs, if they did not do any repair work, we then recommended for you to reach out to a service location that would best suit you.

You'll want to contact the service company to schedule a mutually agreeable date and time for them to come to your home. Once the technician is onsite, they will be able to diagnose and correct the issue. The technician can also call our Technical Service team at 920-748-3121 for assistance with any troubleshooting or if they have any questions while they are in front of the machine.
When you call to set up the service appointment be sure to provide the serial number of your machine. The service company will need that in order to file any necessary warranty claims with us.

The dryer is very easy to install with quality components. The control board is user friendly. There are so many options for getting your clothes dried at the exact temperature you need for the load. It's quiet and the size is perfect for my needs.

I had another brand with all the bells and whistles. I fell like I went "old school" when I bought a Speed Queen. So glad I did! It's modern and old school mixed together! I do wish it had a detergent dispenser instead of putting detergent into the tub. That's not a complaint, just a suggestion!

We like the dryer, it performs as expected and has lots of features. We are working with it to get accustomed. The bin is larger than our previous dryer, thus clothes are not as wrinkled.
