I wish I would have purchased a Speed Queen washer and dryer years ago. Very heavy duty, easy to use and does a great job on our clothes.

Dries as well as expected and has nice steam feature. The capacity of these units are fantastic. We've got 4 kids, so our washer and dryer get put through the ringer and are constantly being used. The quality and performance can't be beat as you'd expect from something truly made in America.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New Speedqueen Dryer

I love this Speedqueen dryer. It has cut laundry time in half. Also, the mist cycle is great!
Sadly, the appliance store Urner’s of Bakersfield installed the dryer incorrectly. This error resulted in an electrical fire contained to the machine. I am concerned that even with repairs the machine will not be 100% and subject to future problems.

The Replacement We Chose for a 30 yo Laundry Pair

We needed to replace our long lived and reliable laundry pair. We chose this dryer and the matching washer. This set has the longest warranty and is the best made that we could find. It has all the features we need and no empty bells and whistles.This dryer works, it's quiet, and we hope to have it for 30 years

I guess my wife and I had purchased the best money could buy or so we thought. About three weeks after the dryer was installed, the heat making coil went out. When I called the customer service number, the lady who answered was very helpful . I got a repair service in the local area, but had to wait a week to have it checked. When the service tec. checked the machine, we were told the heat coil was OK but the thermo coupler would not allow the heat coil to come on. The tec ordered the necessary part ,however he had know idea when part would ship. Here we are washing laundry and spin drying each load two times and then putting them on drying racks. . My wife is not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has a lot of drying flexibility, in terms of steam drying and pet hair removal, but it seems that it takes longer to dry clothing articles than our very old Kenmore
