After much research and recommendations from friends and family, we chose the Speed Queen brand for its reliability and quality. We are not disappointed! I am waiting for my Maytag washer to quit so I can purchase a Speed Queen washer.

I had purchased the Speed Queen washing machine a few years ago. The dryer we had was still working so we waited until hubby's bandaiding the knobs worked to the point of needing channel locks to get the thing to turn. TO MY DELIGHT, I ran to the local Maytag shop where I purchased the washer and happily had the dryer delivered. They just do not make appliances to last and when I heard about the Speed Queen, I knew that I had found my Washer and Dryer. Easy to use. Performance is Excellent. Love it.

Have had 4 other brands and they lack the quality, dependability, and warranty. Living on a farm and grand children it gets used hard.

the dryer is not as efficient as my fisher-paykel dryer that I had for 20 yrs. Clothes often wrinkled & often not dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
