Running it on normal, stains do not come out..once I used soak cycle, it was better. It washes just as well as any other washer at a higher price. My center agitator is cracked.. retailer coming out to look and assuming replace.. my dryer was not connected properly by retailer resulting in water on my floor.. he tried to blame it on condensation from venting through attic. Not the case. I’ve had it vented like this for 10 yrs. no issues. Once reconnected, dryer worked great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've only had this dryer a month or so but so far I'm loving it. It works great and it seems like my clothes aren't coming out so wrinkled.

Only regret is not finding Speed Queen sooner

I can't say enough about my Speed Queen dryer and my Speed Queen TR7 washing machine. They both make my life so much easier. I bought the washer 6 months ago and love it so much that when my old Samsung dryer started going out, I didn't consider anything other than Speed Queen. The washer gets clothes clean in approximately 40 minutes or less, depending on the cycle, and for really dirty items, you can choose longer wash times. It rinses well too, getting all the residue out, leaving clothes soft instead of stiff. The spin cycle is so efficient, and the machine runs quietly in all the cycles. The dryer gets towels dry about 10 to 15 minutes faster than my old unit, and has the stainless steel drum which I love. And the light inside the drum is fantastic; no more forgotten stray socks. I love that I can customize how much heat I want, how much time, and have wrinkle prevent on or off. And the signal is a soft chime, not one of those annoying buzzer sounds. I was in an appliance store recently, and walked by some customers looking at laundry pairs. I almost walked up to complete strangers to tell them they should only look at Speed Queen laundry. If you're shopping for washers or dryers, don't hesitate to buy these; they're well worth the cost.

Seems like a good machine, however moisture setting seems off with no way to adjust, without going to timer.
