Surprised by malfunction so soon after purchase.

After 2 years, a component in the dryer stopped working resulting in the hot air getting too hot as it dried. A mechanic came to fix this issue. Since this fix, the light in the dryer stopped going on. Otherwise, the machine has worked as expected.

I love my speed queens. Not quite like the old wringer washers but close. They don’t spin as dry as the old appliances bur the dryer gets them totally dry in about the same time as my old dryer. I’d like to have the finished buzzer louder because we can’t hear it on either the washer or dryer. Over all great appliance and I’m telling all my friends about them.

Love my new SQ dryer and second-hand SQ washer. Washer is a few years old and took a while to find a used one, but has an agitator that works better at cleaning clothes than some recent newer SQ washers. Dryer has nice features such as moisture sensor so it's very energy efficient.

We bought this as a replacement for another fryer that was less than I year old. It had a catastrophic failure as per the first repair man. But the company would not replace it. Four repair visits later and the replaced cabinet no longer fit into the laundry cabinet. So this one fit. It was a different colour but the warranty was fabulous.
For the first time in as long as we can remember the sheets come out loose. Not in a ball.

I am satisfied with my new purchase of my Speed Queen washer and dryer. The washing cycles rinse all the soap out of the clothes, which the other two washers I have owned weren’t able to do. The dryer is efficient and is quiet. The washer is a little noisy when switching during cycles, but the end result is worth it.
