We intended to buy new Maytag washer/dryer set, but the floor salesman discouraged us and instead recommended Speed Queen. We remembered the old commercials about the Maytag repair guy with nothing to do, and thought they were still the best. We did our research and are very glad we did before buying. We are completely satisfied that we got the best.

This dryer is awesome and very quiet. My only complaints are that the signal buzzer is not loud enough even on it's highest setting and when you select options it doesn't add time to the timer.

Great dryer overall

Great dryer; reliable, easy to use. Only issue I have had is when I fill it with something larger (like bedding)- it can singe it because the back of the dryer gets very hot; so I caution you not to over fill the dryer. Other than that, we LOVE it.
