We bought this a few months ago. It has been a great dryer. It does a great job and can do large loads at once. The only thing I do not particularly like it the lint vent in front. When I would stop the dryer the clothes would go into it when I opened the door and get the lint on them. I have learned you have to stop the dryer and wait for it to stop spinning before opening the door!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dryer Broke After 2 Weeks, No Part to Fix for Week

This dryer broke within 2 weeks of owning, the heating element went bad and the part is out. We’ve been without a machine for maybe 1 month now and I’m regretting my purchase.

Probably Wouldn't Buy Again

I purchased this as part of a matching set with the washer. I am not sure I would do it again. I could probably purchase a dryer to work as well for a fraction (at least half) of what this one cost. Pros: It matches the washer. Cons: 1. It doesn't seem to dry loads and I frequently have to run a 2nd cycle. I am not talking large loads either. These a small to medium. In fairness, it could be that the washer just doesn't spin very well. 2. The biggest issue that I have is that the door is REALLY hard to open. I have to yank really hard to open it - and I am fairly strong. If I am not standing square in front of the dryer and really pulling hard on the door, I cannot open it. 3. It just seems and sounds like it is thin and tinny - not quality.
If I could bring this set back and exchange it, I would.

Would not recommend.

The washer and dryer have both been a huge disappointment. After two weeks, the heating element went out on the dryer. The store replaced it. It’s been three days since I’ve had replacement…an appliance repair tech is scheduled to come repair the new one. The drying sensor is not working.
As for the washer, you cannot add liquid fabric softener. It is dispensed all in one spot and leaves spots on the fabric. I wish I could return.

Dryer broke on first load.

The dryer we purchased quit heating during the first load. We contacted the local appliance repair service who then replaced the heat fuse which had blown. He then checked the temperature of the dryer and noted that it was getting excessively hot. The repair service contacted Speed Queen who said that there was a service bulletin on this unit and that a Heat high limit sensor needed to be replaced. However, the replacement part was backordered and would not be available until the end of May. The Dryer was purchased on April 6th.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke after five months

This is the second dryer I purchased in the past four years. The motor on the first one died after four years. I have had this one for five months and the thermostat broke and to add insult to injury, the part is on back order so I have not had a dryer for over three weeks. Very unhappy with this product!

Didn't work after owning less than a month and doing approx 15 loads. The dryer signals and says error code ErN5. Disappointed that it quit working so soon.
