Thought I bought the best but very unsure. Used the dryer 4 times and it quit heating. Had to wait 5 days for a repairman and part not with him. He “fixed” it so I could use it and it is working now. Over a week and still waiting on part needed to really repair it. Thought since it was made in USA parts would be quickly available. Drying times take forever over my 10 year old dryer this replaced. Supposed to be fully warranted for 7 years. Where’s proof of this in writing?Received no paper stating this guarantee. So far I am really afraid I made a wrong purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a couple of recent purchases of a pair of Maytag washer/dryer, the dryer biting the dust and then a new GE dryer having two repairs in a year and still not correct we decided enough was enough. Always heard of Speed Queen quality and while the cost is more our new pair of Speed Queens are great commercial machines. Dryer with the steam and all the other options runs so quietly and efficiently it was shocking how little noise. All one has to do it look it over side by side with other machines and see for yourself. Sadly the years of mid range appliances with a 15yr expectation is long past. I'd rather pay a little more in lieu of buying every 4-5 years and putting up with constant repairs and noisy junk.

Best Dryer EVER!

I have 2 dogs that make laundry a pain, well that is a thing of the past. Having a dryer that removes pet hair before washing has been the best as now I no longer have lingering pet hair on clothes, their blankets etc. Highly recommend!

Machine seems well built but getting it to dry clothes on the moisture auto-sensing cycles is really challenging. We’ve only had the machine for a couple weeks and I haven’t called in for service yet but I am contemplating scheduling an appointment to have the dryer element and auto-sensing checked.
The pet cycles are a big Plus on this dryer.

I love everything about this unit. I would tell the Speed Queen company to please produce all the manuals for dryer use, care and maintenance on Youtube as video assistance. Demonstrating the principles you espouse for use of your life time lasting machines would REALLY boost your product appreciation. Example: How do I switch the door to face the other direction on my dryer? Reading is cool, watching is perfect!

Very good machine however our dealer told us that we just needed a regular flexible vent tubing and the instructions said we needed hard duct. Called speed queen and they told me that that was true that the warranty wouldn’t be respected unless it was hard duct because of the thermostat sensor. So we had to hire someone else because our dealer who did the installation would not come back and do it properly. Please contact Marzucco Elaectric and tell them they are wrong in Sainte Genevieve Missouri

Love everything about this dryer especially the lint trap being built in. Comparing the lint trap to the clam shell ones that are impossible to open it's like night and day. The clothes always seem to be dry when set to dry dry. On the topic of settings that's where the first gripe is. Each setting is almost like a temp setting in itself ex: Delicate=low, Regular=medium, and HD=high. It states that things like HD is for blankets and bulky things, I'm assuming in how it senses moisture and everything changes due to the bulk, except if the blanket needs low heat then you have to use delicate. It'd almost be easier to just set it like in manual time but have a auto sense setting. On the plus side even blankets on delicate come out dry. The steam isn't technically steam but still works nice. The only other gripe which would be a easy fix is the lint trap while amazing does seem to leave a slight gap/bend on the door facing long side. This doesn't seem to let much of anything past but isn't quite up to par for the price.
