Doesn’t heat therefore doesn’t dry!

I have nothing positive to say about this dryer’s performance. I had it two weeks when it stopped heating. Any even in those first two weeks it took forever for the loads to dry. I’ve now waiting five weeks for a replacement part on a brand new dryer with no anticipated date for the part’s arrival and dryer repair. So frustrating!! I wish I kept my old dryer. I thought I was investing in a reliable product but it’s garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Burned my clothes and stopped working in 3 months

We did our research, read through many reviews and watched many YouTube videos on reviews of the SpeedQueen machine. Rather than going with the flashy new washer/dryer we decided to go with a rather long lived name, SpeedQueen. During the first few months, we were adjusting in hopes to finding the correct settings. The dryer was burn holes and leaving dryer marks on all of our clothings; delicate, cotton, polyester, everything. We wanted to believe that we bought something that's long lasting, "buy it for life" but unfortunately, the dryer died us on the 3rd month of buying it brand new. No heat was coming out of the dryer. To make things worse, there's no "speed queen" repair. It's through a third party and if you didn't buy it from that particular store, you're put to the end of the list. It was so hard just to find one repair store that provides full service for speed queen repair. Long story short. Go with something else. We will look into getting an LG. The warranty will be more and the service repair will be more accessible.
