Excellent washing machine! Easy to use and 7 year warrantee! You can't beat it! Our Samsung front loader lasted only 8 years. They say this one is built to last 20+ years! Towels feel softer, laundry is cleaned better and water covers the clothes in the tub with auto fill, though still with regulated water consumption. Never liked the front loaders that used very little water and didn't clean clothes very well.

I bought a top loading Speed Queen washer for two reasons. Of the reviews I read it was rated best in reliability. The second reason was it has an agitator which so many of the newer washers do not. Again, I read a review on washers with and without agitators. It was stated that an agitator is best for dirty clothes while those without an agitator are all right for lightly soiled clothing.
My washer allows me to pause it to check on water level and suds level. These are two features I value greatly. If I don't like the water setting that I selected, I can stop the washer and start all over without fear of overfilling it. It also tells me how much time it will take to complete each load.
I have peace of mind because I know I bought a quality product. I am so glad I researched other washers because I believe in my heart that I selected the best washer on the market.

I hadn't purchased a new washer/dryer set for 35+ years so was looking for a high quality set. I started looking at the "top rated" brands, however upon reading the reviews decided to continue looking. The top brands reviews were consistent about consumers regretting their purchases. Common complaints were that clothes weren't clean, not enough water was used, no control over water usage, etc. A family member suggested I look at Speed Queen so I contacted a local retailer and became convinced this was the set for us
The washer is efficient, there are enough options, quiet and clothes come out clean. The spin cycle truly spins out a great deal of the water so that drying time is reduced. Being able to control water level, water temperature, etc. is what I was looking for
The set is straight forward and I believe is built to last. The fact that it's made in the USA is another big plus for me. If you are only looking for a fancy design or a brand with multiple color options this may not be for you! If you want a dependable and efficient washer this is the one
My only recommendation is I wish the alarm was louder, as my set is away from our living area

I'm quite pleased with this washing machine so far. It it easy for me to reach the clothes to remove to dryer. I like the display. Easy to read and adjust. The water level is easy to adjust, unlike the older machine I previously owned. It is nice to have a timer. Easy to open lock. Over all I'm happy today!

We feel kind of like royalty. The washing machine is absolutelly amazing, clothes are cleaner, dryer and mama is happy. You know what they say, if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Well this mama is so very happy. We researched every machine on the market. This Speed Queen was the only 5 star rated machine available. Have had nothing but trouble with Kenmore Elite Series. We have switched for good, you should too!
