Sensory Board/Water Overflow

Brand new purchase, washing machine at 7 months old required sensory board replacement. Wouldn't stop filling up with water. Had to turn off water supply lines to stop overflow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Built like the old machines. Made to last!

Haven't had such a great washing machine since my old Maytag from 50 years ago! This hoopla about low water usage is so deceiving! If you have to wash and rewash and re-rinse multiple times with the front loaders, then exactly how are you conserving energy and water? My Speed Queen washes everything from delicates to rugs perfectly and quietly!

I think I am in love with this machine

Initially I thought that the smaller tub would be a negative but quite honestly I find the size more than adequate. More than anything I'm impressed by the efficiency and effectiveness of the washing process. My laundry is definitely cleaner. Stains which in the past would have demanded a second or third wash with added stain remover disappear after the first wash.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband and I wanted to buy a workhorse washer for our family (to do LOTS of laundry) and that is what we got. You know you are purchasing quality when the manufacturer warranty is 7 years. No other brands I know have that. Bottom-line if you want high quality purchase!

Not too pleased at the moment

We had our washer only 3 weeks and 1 day before it threw an error code 65. The mother board went out. It was delivered March 9th. April 1st, it started with the code. A repairman came out the next week, had to order the part and it is supposed to be repaired today. I miss my old Maytag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fine washer

Reputation is great and although it is early, the washing machine looks like a keeper for a long time. It runs much quieter than my previous washer and stays balanced and is more efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Washer

Speed Queen is best washer I've ever used in my 42 plus yrs of doing laundry! My husband asked "are you doing something different to my clothes?" My response, "nope I'm using the same products I've always used". Our clothes feel different and smell cleaner. We couldn't be happier with our Speed Queen purchase.

What I like most

I am impressed with the machines. They are user friendly and well made. The online manufacturing information is a great selling point and are far superior to other brands on the market. The purchase price is comparable to machines far inferior in quality. This purchase was to replace machines I bought in 1991. Yes, they worked, but the one piece necessary, broken by a repairman, rendered the washing machine permanently inoperable. I purchased both the washing machine and dryer. They are efficient, quiet and although the dryer heating element recently went out, the service call was promptly answered and solved by a reliable/knowledgeable, polite, professional service provider. Since their projected operability is 25 years, I have teased with my family I have to decide who to will them to! Great products, great service!
