Disappointing Washer

Was excited to receive the new washer but after only a few washes, I noticed rust stains in the drum. Had service call today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty solid machine

The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because I went from a front load washer to a top load. Which I love the agitator, my clothes feel cleaner. However, I hang a lot of my clothes and don’t like to iron. No matter how quick I get them out they are instantly super wrinkled. I’ve tried fabric softener, small loads, light loads, different wash cycles, everything. Still wrinkles everything. Other than that, it is a great machine. But if you hang your clothes and don’t enjoy ironing I would recommend a different machine. I would love for somebody to give me some ideas on how to avoid wrinkles besides what I’ve done. If it didn’t wrinkle it would absolutely be 5 stars.

great brand lack's quality control

would give 5 but had to take dryer back to dealer because it didn't work ,a harness behind top panel was never connected. Where's the quality control at for what i paid i should of been paid for my time and miles for taking back to be worked on, or wait 10 day's for a service call . Wife was very unhappy as was i that a brand new machine had to fixed from the get go, love the name and now everything is running properly love the set we bought .

Fine, not great!

We replaced our 17+ year old Sears washer with the Speed Queen based on reviews. We’re not “unhappy,” but it lacks features we liked. For example, most top-loading machines these days lack an agitator. This one has it. But…it lacks the spiral stem that out old one had, meaning that things on the bottom tend to stay on the bottom, etc. It makes me wonder if clothes are actually moved around. Since we only recently purchased it, I can’t comment on reliability. I’m hoping we get 17+ years out of it, as we did with our last one.

Wonderful, but.....

Wish it had a detergent dispenser---do not like pouring detergent in straight, without dilution. And wish washer fill continued after lifting lid, so I could dilute detergent myself.

Amazing Washing Machine!

I have wanted a Speed Queen for years and finally purchased one. It cleans so much better than my old front loader. Clothes come out brighter and whiter and smell so clean. It may cost a little more in the beginning, but you will more than make up for the difference with savings on repairs and cleaners. It is a high quality product that is built for the long term. Don't waste your money on another brand.
