ABSOLUTE GARBAGE - VERY DISAPPOINTED

I was excited to finally purchase a Speed Queen based on their reputation for reliability, but my experience has been terrible so far. My dryer was defective from the moment it was installed and it's been almost a month and I'm still waiting for this situation to be made right. The repair person sent to me said he's seen several brand new Speed Queen dryers defective from the get-go. The person I talked to at Speed Queen tried to blame it on bad installation. If I could give zero stars, I would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer is a disappointment

The worst washer I have ever purchased... the washer throws unbalanced codes every 3 or 4 loads I never in my life had to babysit a washing machine don't waste your time

Hello,
We are very sorry to hear you have been experiencing troubles with your Speed Queen product. We have a few tips that may help solve this issue, but of course if the issue proceeds please contact your dealer to set up a mutual agreeable time for service.
While the most common cause of this error is an unbalanced load, it's possible something else could be causing the unit to become unbalanced. I recommend checking that the machine is level on the floor - front to back and side to side. If this is correct, then you'll want to make sure the tub is sitting evenly inside the machine. If it is leaning to the side, it's likely a spring is weak and not holding it properly.
If it's not an issue of the load in the machine, you can also contact your dealer to have someone look at the unit. Of course, the machine is fully covered by the parts and labor warranty, so we want to make sure this is handled as soon as possible!

Best washer ever

We are 3 houses into our marriage and for some reason I really never heard of Speed Queen. We have had Kenmore, GE, LG, and Samsung - some we left in the house we sold when we moved to the next place (active duty Military) while others broke 5-8 years in. So, I’m at a place in life where I went into this washer dryer purchase putting reliability, performance and durability above all other factors. I just started researching “the best” compassion videos, testimonials, went to showrooms, etc. everything led to soled queen. Why didn’t I ever hear of them!? I mean, even if you don’t want to sell at a big box store… you can still run a commercial can’t you Speed Queen??
Anyway, I’m blown away. Clean isn’t even the word. I washed things that my previous washer had an opportunity to clean and it failed too. I’m pulling things out of here that look new! I love them.
Specifically, the dryer dries. I washed and dried 22 king size pillows (2 at a time) and about 14 sets of sheets the week I got these babies. They did not disappoint. I put the setting on “dry” bs “near dry” and my stuff comes out DRY.

Very Disappointed

So far have had service come to try and find root cause of loud squeaking noise during spin cycle two different times. Waiting on third visit to replace “springs” thinking this could be the issue. Already had belt replaced and balance ring. So, for a product from such a highly rated company, I am very disappointed.

Biggest Disappointment

I have been underwhelmed by the quality in which it gets my clothes clean. I had re-read the User Guide twice, inquired online to help forums, changed detergent 3 times and still my clothes actually come out dirtier than when I put them in and washed them. I tried everything from soaking to pre wash. There are water marks and stains on my delicates. My sheets have comet stained too. I had only heard FABULOUS things about Speed Queen. I had a Whirlpool front-loader for 25 years and I wish they made my old model because it was the best! Here is an example of cleaning my Lulu workout gear with other gear. I turn them inside out, wash all like colors together on cold, I used liquid Tide for Coldwater this wash.
When I took them out and hung them to dry. Once dry, I turned them back to inside in, and this is what was on them. This happens whether I washed them on cold or warm/cold.
At first I thought it was the laundry pod so I stopped using the Tide pods and used the liquid.
The stain mark does come out when I rub it with a sponge but this stain was not on them when I put them in the washing machine.
When I took them out and hung them to dry. Once dry, I turned them back to inside in, and this is what was on them. This happens whether I washed them on cold or warm/cold.

We really missed the option to control the amount of water for our laundry. With our front loaders over the last 20 years, we just never felt our clothes were getting completely clean but they were efficient water users. The new Speed Queen TR7 delivers all the control needed. Having both high efficiency settings as well as standard settings, we now have the best of both and the clothes are really clean. The cycles are very gentle compared to the old style top loaders. Kudos to Speed Queen on this appliance.

This washing machine is awesome, it washes the clothes great and really fast, the previous machine I had took for ever and the clothes never seemed clean, I love this machine, and I was impressed the first time I used it, if the machine lasts as long as they say it will this will be the best buy ever.
