One has many options when choosing a new washing machine. Price, ease of purchase, the reputation of the product, and does the machine meets your needs. After checking all of the boxes in the items listed, it was easy to select Speed Queen.

I had 2 Maytag washers within the last 2 years. The first one lasted a little over a year and my last one under a year. I will never buy another one. Decided to cut my losses and not fix it. I searched for a Speed Queen and only found one in stock within 50 miles of me. I got it home and it has been great so far. I haven't had it a month yet, so it's too early to say it's the best. The capacity is smaller but it washes far better than either of our Maytags. I will take quality over capacity any day. The Speed Queen washes our laundry faster than the Maytags. What I like is that it uses water to get the clothes clean. It is built so much better and is 10x more quiet. You can barely hear it run. I don't need to control my washer with my phone. I just need it to was clothes and do so for many years. I am very pleased so far and impressed with the 7 year warranty.

Super quiet, cleans in less time, love the auto fill never have to worry if there is enough water. and easy to use. I would love them to come out with the glass top and be able to open lid without lock

It's been great so far! Clothes, bedding, rugs all come out clean -- not clumped up with dry spots and detergent still visible.

So far not so impressed. First purchase of a speed queen washer and for the price no better or no worse than my whirlpool or Maytag . Had to purchase because of the ability to take apart to get in house. Had it about 3 weeks and had to call for service 4 times because of constantly getting error messages. At least it has a 7 year warranty.

Best washer hands down!

We were getting tired of expensive washers that claim to get clothes super clean while using a minimal amount of water. Not so. Previous front loaders had issues and smelled. High efficiency top loaders twisted up clothes and never really cleaned them. Finally we found Speed Queen and our clothes feel and smell cleaner! Love hearing the use of water and agitator to clean the clothes, reminds me of the old school versions my parents had. Yes, these use more water than the high efficiencies, your clothes will be cleaner. Plus the washer is built like a tank! Best warranty as well. Only wish the end of cycle buzzer was louder. I need to research to see if this is something that can be adjusted. We love our Speed Queen set!

Was easy to get started with the machine. Starts with the average setting & you can switch from there. Like the auto fill water level feature, no waste of water.
