Changed from front loader to a top load Speed Queen and couldn't be happier. It's like a little tank and so far can wash anything my front loader washed. It's quiet and hasn't gotten off balance even with rugs. I am quite impressed. I think we are going to be friends for a long time.

It has been more than 15 years since I have owned a washing machine with an agitator and I have been pleasantly surprised by this machine. Even with the agitator the machine is gentle on clothes while thoroughly cleaning clothes. The machine is a good size, quiet, stays balanced and washes great. There are many settings to choose from and there seems to be a cycle for every need. So far my only complaint is the fabric softener dispenser, it leaks all over clothes and stains them. Even following the instructions and adding water with the softener does not remedy this problem. Until I figure something else out I have been trying to catch the rinse cycle and add softener to the rinse water.

The Queen of Speed!

This unit replaces a Maytag front loader and is nearly twice as fast! I had forgotten how nice it is to have a washer and dryer have similar run times. The clothes are cleaner, smell better and are definitely more thoroughly rinsed. I can’t testify to its longevity, but with your reputation, I am not concerned!

Speed queen isn’t what I expected

This is just an average washing machine with a premium washer price tag. This machine has limited washing settings and really isn’t the best at cleaning - just sub par. I wish I would have went with a Maytag again

Let's ME decide on the water level and how long to wash the load. Absolutely know my clothes are getting clean. Well worth what it cost. Highly recommend it.

Don't waste your time, buy the BEST!

It took me twenty years to finally realize that I have to buy the best appliances that I can find. For the past five years, I have been buying nothing but Speed Queen commercial-grade washers and dryers. I own rental properties and I am responsible for a dozen washers and dryers. Other brands need to be repaired or replaces after four or five years. If half of my dozen appliances need attention every once in awhile, I wind up getting a lot of phone calls. This isn't a problem with Speed Queen appliances. They work like they are supposed to and I can spend my time doing other things besides worrying about washers and dryers. Thank you, Speed Queen!
