Great washing machine, started with a minor hiccup. After a few weeks, got an error code. (still was able to wash, but had to unplug to clear the code) Called Speed Queen customer service, they provided name of local repair shop and the needed part. Washer was fixed in 20 minutes, and has been perfect ever since. Washes great, much quieter and better balanced than 28 year old Maytag it replaced.

I love my new washer and dryer. It is nice to know I can put in my laundry and know it will get clean and the washer will not give me all the grief and issues as my previous brand of washer. Both are also quiet. I just would have liked for instructions on the "how" of some of the features, to be actually included with the machine. Obviously, I know how to use the machines, but there are some features I am not totally sure how to go about using and I need a couple questions answered. Prefer not to have to "hunt down" the answers.

This washing machine may be a little more expensive than some brands, but it is worth it! It works so well, and is extremely well built. You can tell that the company stands behind their product because of the parts and labor warranty they offer. You won't get that from many other companies. I definitely recommend that you look at Speed Queen the next time you look for a washing machine.

Like my older version Better. Still have the 6 year old version, moved it to our second home. The old style agitator is far better. The regulations that were placed on the industry is not saving water and energy do to the fact that you have to run the washer longer or twice to get the cloths clean.

Seems to be running smoothly as expected. My wife's relative in MA seem to all have Speed Queen washers this was one of the reasons we purchased ours. The main reason was that as I worked in Stevens Point, WI for many years, I heard great things about them from one of my patients who was a laundromat repair man. We received the instruction booklets for the washer and dryer and the drying rack for the dryer. Only wish they came with a box of Ripon (Rippin Good) cookies from the outlet.
