After 2 horrible experiences with high end HE washing machines I decided I needed to find a washer that had the features in a machine that were similar to a machine that I had in the early 80s that lasted over 25 years. A friend recommended Speed Queen and i couldn’t be happier. My clothes have never been cleaner and a normal cycle is only 35 minutes. I paid more than I wanted but I know that I will have this machine for a long time as it has a 7 year warranty and the Speed Queen reputation behind it. Even my husband commented on how clean his clothes smell. Don’t be swayed by bells and whistles in HE machines to only be disappointed as those machines don’t last. Invest in the Speed Queen. You won’t regret it.
I read lots of reviews-LOTS! Consumer reports! If I had listened to them I would not have purchased this washer.. but I didn't! I have only had it 3 weeks so I cannot speak to reliability; however I will say I love the machine..... as to whether it gets super grimy clothes clean dunno, there are only 2 of us here, the dirtiest we get is yard work. I never thought I would say I like it SOOOOO much better than the last Maytag I had......SO MUCH BETTER! I know a washer is a huge investment, reviews play a large part in our purchasing... happy I didn't listen
Great except when using the center fill for the detergent it sometimes doesn’t rinse it all out and is left on clothing after the cycle
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. We recommend that if this continues to occur, that you request technical service from your local dealer in order to confirm that there are no technical issues with the machine. However, we can provide tips on avoiding undissolved fabric softener/detergent: Detergent should be placed directly in the washtub prior to loading clothing articles in an effort to achieve optimal wash performance. Concentrated products such as high efficiency detergents and fabric softener dissolve best in hot or warm temperatures and with a sufficient amount of water. You can also select the Extra Rinse option to ensure that any leftover product is dissolved properly. I have the T7 washer and appreciate it more each day. There are no smells from the washer. Clothes get very clean and I don't notice any more wear on clothing due to the central agitator. Even very large loads get done very quickly, never an unbalanced load signal. This washer is solid and it would have received a 5 star if it had an end of cycle signal.
We absolutely love this washer! We do get an error code "st" sometimes when washing our diapers (we cloth diaper) and can't figure out what that means. We were told that when we sent in our warranty information we would be mailed a full owner's manual. It is has been almost a month and we haven't received it yet.
I don't think that I will ever own another washing machine. I am old school and came from the generation of washing machines with an agitator in the middle. And I have owned multiple energy efficient washing machines that do not have this feature. When it comes right back down to it, I had to go back to the old school machine just because I didn't feel like my clothes were being cleaned and my clothes were always tied up in knots with each other. No other washing machine comes with such a long warranty and such stable durability. My clothes look cleaner and smell cleaner. The washing machine itself is just super nice!!! My family and friends constantly comment on how our clothes smell so good. I have changed nothing about the way that I wash our clothes, it's just the machine that is different. So obviously it's a huge difference!!!
There are more things to like about this machine than things not to like. As time goes on and I get used to it, I appreciate what it does well. I've had it about 3 weeks, and I wash from 2 to 4 loads a day, usually towels, sheets, blankets, pillows. After the first load, I thought I'd cry because there were still spots on the towels and blankets, and they were the type of spots my old washer got out every time without pre-spotting and without fail (tomato sauce, red dye from wet pills and jello, vomit...and it's just spots, I scrape food etc off before I put them in the washer). Suggestions from customer service were very helpful, mostly about pre-treating spots, which settings to use, how it's best to put soap and borax in and let them swish around as the washer is filling for 30-60 seconds before I add the laundry. Now the spots come out and I'm satisfied the laundry is clean. One of the BEST things about this is it is QUIET!!! Wonderfully quiet. At first I thought it wasn't agitating and that was why it wasn't getting the spots out. But it does agitate gently and quietly. Seems the gentle agitation might be easier on the laundry.
Like it, but don’t love it. Bought it because it’s a workhorse and loads should take less time. 3 kids, two dogs... we have lots of laundry. Mostly disappointed because it doesn’t clean out simple stains unless it’s on the “heavy soil level” which negates the speediness advantage. Also found my clothes and towels come out significantly more wet than with my previous front loader, even if I do an additional spin cycle. This makes my dryer take longer. Love that it doesn’t tangle my clothes, I can soak things, and it doesn’t smell, but I’d probably look for something that checked all my boxes if I had to do it again. Also find it strange that it has to be plugged into a non-gfi outlet to work.
