wonderful washing machine

I was reluctant to spend the money for a speed queen especially since I have been told washing machines do not last long these days. The 7 year warranty was definitly a selling point as well as personal recommendations from family. I LOVE this washing machine. It is so quiet, I had to check to make sure I turned it on the first few times I used it. I love all the features and various wash options. I am very glad I decided to make the purchase. I have had the machine 1 month.

Good But Needs Improvements

Water input stops if the lid is raised. When needing to add water to the fabric softener dispenser, water must be obtained elsewhere, another room. It cannot be obtained from the machine. This is a huge drawback. In addition,the machine leaves fabric softener in the drum unless a second rinse is used. It defeats the purpose for using fabric softener. Why use softener to only rinse it away! I expected more from a top grade washer. On a positive note. It is quiet and displays cycle run time and count down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been a Maytag girl my whole life and the last one I purchased has had to be repaired 3 times in 18 months. So we researched and found the Speed Queen and I've never been happier! If you want a great reliable washer...you need to try it. Soooo happy with my purchase!

Great washing machine.

I wanted to purchase a top-load washer. We went to our local dealer and they showed us the TR7003WN. I was skeptical of the electronic buttons. I have used the washer for over a month now, and I love the washer. I use the delay start mode all the time as I work full-time and I like to have a load done when I get home. The time for the cycles is appropriate. The only complaint I have is I don't like the open lid stop.

I replaced my working Maytag set of 32 years with this. I have an upstairs laundry and didn't want to have to replace for a while. Speed Queen was HIGHLY recommended. Love the set.

My first Speed Queen

I really like this machine EXCEPT for the lid lock feature. I like to add fabric softener to my rinse cycle and Downy softener does not dispense well in this machine. It leaves softener in spots on the clothes.
