After my Maytag kept having issues, the repair man recommended Speed Queen. Thought about it a great deal. Almost bought an LG, but it was actually more money once I added a five year warranty and delivery with take away. That made the decision easy. I have washed rugs, quilts and loads of laundry without any issues. I have adjusted to the somewhat smaller wash loads, and I love the faster load times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love everything about this washer. Its quiet, fast, and spins stuff very dry for a top load. With the little ones we soak very soiled and blown out clothes all the time getting them very nice and clean. My only major gripe is the inability to rinse your soap cup out before shutting the lid. There is a simple way around this but I don't want to ruin the warranty so I just toss the cup in every few loads to keep it from building up detergent. It's very subtle but with it being so quiet it does have a light whine noise of the motor with no other ambient noise in the room but still miles better than any washer I've owned.

Very pleased with washer

The washer seems to be a great product. However, I probably use more water than I did with my old front load. I tend to set the water level rather than let the washer do so because I have read that the auto feature leaves residue. I did have an issue with fleece blankets: there was lint all over the blankets after the wash (these were no new blankets). So far, I have not noticed this problem again with other materials.
