Highly recommended by not only repair person but by long time plumber of ours. Yes, more expensive but will outlast the others 2 or 3 to 1.

Love that it has agitator and can fill to top with water. Have had front load and top loads without agitator and clothes never seemed clean. Very happy I purchased speed queen.

I've purchased in my lifetime several machines, but nothing outperforms the Speed Queen. Durability, all the special features it has, it's quite. This should last me for the remainder of my life.

After 3 weeks, I can say this is probably the best washer I have ever purchased! It is quiet, gives many choices for washing different fabrics and wash cycles are a reasonable time. Love the 7 year warranty. If it lasts 25 years, I'll be a very happy camper!!
