Looking for durability and longevity to replace my 29 year old Maytag. These new machines are different and take a little adjustment to get used to. Putting detergent in first is backwards to me. No where do the instructions tell how much detergent to use for different size loads. Recommend to use auto water fill so how to determine amount of detergent? It is quiet and does the job and sheets do not get twisted. I have the digital board and have tried all the cycles. The hand wash is a great feature. Even on the loudest setting, the end of cycle signal is not loud enough unless standing next to it.

Getting to know the washer

The washer doesn't seem to spin the clothes very dry. Jeans and towels are still very wet and take longer to dry. Trying to figure out where the soap goes and how much to use. Like the profile and options. Nice having a top loading machine again.

I love doing laundry (almost everyday!) I have been so disappointed with the supposedly top rated washers that fail in less than 10 years! I love that Speed Queen is made in the US and has the most amazing warranty that if included with the purchase! I love that I can actually have water in my washer! I couldn't be happier! I tell everyone!

This is a fantastic washer with a full seven year warranty. It’s very quiet. My favorite thing about it is that it’s American made!

This machine is all that the salesman promised. But I know this is a product used in commercial settings I am residential and when the machine was delivered after pugging into a GFI outlet it tripped. Now according to city codes a GFI outlet is required within six feet of water source this machine will not operate. I had to get an electrician to fix the problem and still be within codes.
