Finally A Machine Built to Last

Wanted a machine that is built tough durable reliable for more years than the all too common inferior 6-8 years made now. Wanted more, like the USA machines that were common decades before year 2000. Also wanted this to be the last washer I would ever buy, have carried to 2nd floor, after removing stair railings and doors, to put in place. Just be sure you have a location or setup that accommodates the control panel extending 2.5" back beyond the body of the machine and take up valuable room behind needed for plumbing lines and tipping washer back to remove front panel for repairs. My pan is an excellent Durapan, fixed to the floor and custom drain plumbing and set for the common washer dimensions. A major pain to change, I didnt. Instead built my own special hookup adapters to connect wtr lines. Also noticed highest speed spin(800rpm) caused washer to wobble a little when empty and it is level and stable on feet when not operating.

Best one I’ve ever owned

I have owned many washers over the time from different apartments, and family members hand me downs. It was time to purchase my own when I bought my first home and I am excited these will be with me until I retire at least! Best wash I have received on my clothes since the 90’s!

Looking for durability and longevity to replace my 29 year old Maytag. These new machines are different and take a little adjustment to get used to. Putting detergent in first is backwards to me. No where do the instructions tell how much detergent to use for different size loads. Recommend to use auto water fill so how to determine amount of detergent? It is quiet and does the job and sheets do not get twisted. I have the digital board and have tried all the cycles. The hand wash is a great feature. Even on the loudest setting, the end of cycle signal is not loud enough unless standing next to it.

Getting to know the washer

The washer doesn't seem to spin the clothes very dry. Jeans and towels are still very wet and take longer to dry. Trying to figure out where the soap goes and how much to use. Like the profile and options. Nice having a top loading machine again.

OMG To Die For!

I love doing laundry (almost everyday!) I have been so disappointed with the supposedly top rated washers that fail in less than 10 years! I love that Speed Queen is made in the US and has the most amazing warranty that if included with the purchase! I love that I can actually have water in my washer! I couldn't be happier! I tell everyone!
