Worth the cost!

Love my new washer & dryer! Was expensive but worth the price. I own an Airbnb and needed machines that would work well & efficiently. Came with a 7 year warranty also! Highly recommend!!

This brand was recommended by my repair person to replace a 2005 Fisher and Paykel that I truly loved. I also did a fair amount of online research and talked to several people.
Pro’s: the tub seems deeper—holds a lot, excellent wool cycle for my hand knits, very quiet, hand wash cycle useful for lace curtains. Bought the TR7 for the delay start.
Cons: delay start doesn’t need to be so long (12-16 hrs is enough), I miss the 1000 rpm spin speed on my old washer—can actually fell the difference in the clothes, cycles are so many and so complex but can’t set spin speed separate from cycles. Doesn’t look like it’s possible to do gentle agitation & moderate fast spin.
Endurance: Speed Queen has a great reputation for longevity, but this is a new model so only time will tell.

So far so good

So went through a lg and Samsung in less than 6 months. Both couldn’t be repaired in timely manner. Went with speed queen so far so good great options handle good size load and is very quiet. Cloths are clean sometimes you should just stick with things that have worked for years.

Great Machine So Far.

After going through 2 washing machines in 12 years, I did some research on Speed Queen after a recommendation from a family member. The longevity of the washing machine is what sold me and also the agitator. I have had it for about 6 weeks and so far so good. Surprisingly pretty quiet. The retail value of Speed Queen is higher that other brands out there, but I figured that it was worth the extra for me. Fingers crossed it will last a long time.

Replacement for 1999 Maytag

So far it runs perfectly. Easy to operate. I usually prefer dials not push pads only because pads seems to have more problems. But I do appreciate the versatility of this washer.
My Maytag was great but ceased drawing cold water. Running buckets of cold water, got old after a year.

We've been mostly happy

Our new washing machine has kept us mostly happy. Quiet, sturdy, and quick. It took some time to figure out how to get stains out of baby clothes when washing on Normal Eco (answer is...use a different setting). And the machine shorted out our GFI outlet and we were only told after our purchase that this is a common issue with this machine. But we fixed the electrical issue and things run smoothly now.
