We purchased the Speed Queen washer and electric dryer on the recommendation of a service repairman. We bought these for our retirement home due to the fact that our current W/D relatively new and top of the line weren't getting the job done. For a top of the line product that did preform as expected we were encouraged by speaking to a Speed Queen representative about the quality of there product. We purchased the units and had them delivered in November 2019. After the install was complete we washed a load of clothes. The clothes came out nice and clean and dried better then our other unit both in less amount of time. The only complaint we have is the washer is really noisy thus the (4 star) rating. Otherwise we would have given it a (5 star) rating. For the money its well worth it, it will clean your clothes and come out smelling fresh. Our other unit after we wash the clothes they just didn't smell clean and we even have a water softener.
Very disappointed that machine has an error code that will not reset. Requires a service technician to visit. Machine is only a month old and we are unable to use it for 9 days as that is as soon as tech can visit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Spent more money to get a good washing machine. We were very disappointed to find out that the new Speed Queen that we just purchased, does not clean clothes as good as our 20 tear old Whirlpool. I ran a load through the new Speed Queen 3 times and still was not clean.

I regret not buying the classic washer. This new model is not cleaning heavily soiled clothes.

Well, so far the washing machine works well except for the fabric softener option. Even following the directions defined in the e-manual the fabric softener was still present on 33% of the loads. I contacted Speed Queen and after a few emails back and forth it was made clear the warranty does not cover operator error. I explained that I followed the directions as defined in the e-manual but still had fabric softener present 33% of the time. I contacted my dealer and we have a Service call scheduled. Will advise.
Great warranty, pricey but did NOT clean my clothes.

I am very pleased with the Commercial Heavy Duty model. It takes a large load and cleans efficiently and quietly. I strongly prefer top loading as it is more convenient. The variety of settings is an advantage because it permits the user to choose how long the cycle will last.
Washer is loud have to close the door and you still hear it ,can’t wash clothes when you have company!
