Great washer

We love our new washer and the large capacity. We only wish the buzzer was louder. We can barely hear it when we are sitting downstairs watching the tv on. If we are on the main floor, we cannot hear it at all. Other than this, it's a great machine.

After years of disappointment with other brands, I purchased a Speed Queen washer after my online research. In just three weeks of using my new Speed Queen washer, I’m very satisfied with the job it performs. I like the different options to choose from. Yes, I would recommend this appliance. There are no disappointments here. I'm in love!

So Quiet & Laundry Smells Clean!

We have had front load washers for last 17 years but with recent cracked tubs TWICE in the last 3 years (one was under extended warranty), we decided to get something that wasn't going to break as easily & the porcelain tub was a plus. Our sales person showed us how solid the Speed Queen was & encouraged us to move the agitator to feel the difference & they were RIGHT! Not only did it not move as easily but the actual machines sides were stronger & weren't easily able to be pushed in. Initially we bought the GE top loader pair but as soon as we left the store I had BIG TIME regrets, so I called and asked them if I could purchase the SQ washer instead (since our dryer still worked and just had the heating element replaced as it was under the extended warranty). The Speed Queen Washer was delivered the next day and just as solid as the floor model we saw. I feel like my laundry is cleaner & most certainly smells a lot better than my front load washer! While the machine is HE (high efficiency), it still uses a lot of water, which is why we use the auto fill option AND the extra soak option so that clothes get cleaner & saves on water, which helps the environment. We have also used the favorites to program in settings that are fail-safe for the family to use. We hope to purchase the marching dryer once our old one quits & hope we can get the SQ dryer on sale. I mention it is quiet & it is, while running during wash cycles, but during filling and draining it isn't quiet which is to be expected. The thing I REALLY miss is the extra storage that I had from my pedestals, but all in all so very happy with the "upgrade" we made on 12/24/21

Freshest clothes I’ve ever had from a machine!

I’ve owned all the big name brands, fancy front loads, etc. None, and I do mean NONE can compete with the fresh laundry smell that I’ve gotten from my speed queen. Several options for load type, plenty of bells and whistles for me. I love this brand so much and will never own a different brand! The warranty is unmatched as well!!! Thanks Speed Queen for a quality product!

We really struggled with a front load HE machine, but we finally replaced it with our new Speed Queen and now the laundry is just clean. We don't have to spend half our time getting the machine clean.

This machine works!

We have gone through 3 washers in 6 years. No other washer has gotten our clothes this clean. The spin cycle actually spins out water! Our drying time now matches the wash times so much better.

Great washer but...

This washer is a little noisier than our last one (Maytag). As I understand it the belt will adjust and the machine is supposed to get quieter. That has yet to happen. It really doesn't take away from the operation of the washer. Great machine just a little louder than expected.
