I haven't had my new machine that long, but I definitely know it's better than the one I had before! So glad to get rid of my front loader and super excited to own a Speed Queen!

This is a very sensitive machine. You cannot put in too many items or it becomes unbalanced. Too large an item and the same thing. But it works well on small to medium loads. It also can only accept the smallest amount of detergent on the cap or it will also fail. And when it stops, you have to unplug it and wait 15 seconds and then reset the wash. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the average 7-10 years machines are built for now and I will be happy. Otherwise, the price difference is not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

so far I am very pleased with the performance of my washer.It is easy to use and offers many options.One small issue I have is that the signal at the end of the cycle is Too low to hear unless you are in the same room with the machine.It is not a deal breaker however.
I would recommend this to a friend!
