Great machine! I was hesitant because I have been using a front loading machine for 10 years and like it. This washing machine doesn't look particularly fancy but it works better than any washer I have had in the past. It cleans very well and efficiently.

So far I'm really pleased. I bought this to replace a high end Whirlpool that kept having problems over the 8 years i owned it. I decided to buy something more durable so i went with the Speed Queen. The wash cycles are much faster that the Whirlpool and seem to do a better job at cleaning. The tub is a little smaller than my previous unit but not by much. The filling of the tub is very loud, however that might be due to the new hoses i bought. I'll probably replace them to see if that resolves it. Other than that, i love the simplicity of this machine and hope it lasts longer than both my Whirlpool (8 years) and Maytag (5 years) before that.
